A Safe Space to Talk

A safe space to talk...

The Space - Counselling for Young People

The Space is an affordable confidential professional counselling service for young people aged 12 – 20+. Some free places will be available.

We offer a safe space for young people to talk through a range of issues such as difficulties at school, college or at home; relationship difficulties; problems relating to self-esteem, depression or anxiety; self-harm or eating difficulties; or perhaps just a feeling that things are not right.

How to Make an Appointment with The Space

You can contact us directly, or ask a parent or professional (such as a teacher or your GP) to make a referral on your behalf. In this case we would then contact you directly to confirm that you wish to attend.

Email us or call 07879 381 334 and leave your name and phone number. Someone will then call you back. In this call we will ask you for some brief details to see if our service is appropriate for you. It will be helpful if at this time you have some idea of your availability, so that we can try to find a suitable time. After-school times are always very popular, especially for those in later years at school or college. It is helpful for us to know if you have any availability during the day.
