CPD and Placements

Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

Riverside’s highly regarded and stimulating CPD Programme aims to offer Saturday workshops that are open to therapists from all backgrounds. For those who are qualified or still in training, or even for those who just have an interest in counselling and psychotherapy.

Workshops are delivered by leading clinicians across a range of therapeutic specialisms, and sessions may be used as proof of CPD towards re-accreditation. A CPD certificate is issued at the end of each workshop.

Our workshops offer rich and varied opportunities to deepen your expertise, to meet with local fellow practitioners and to discover new ideas to support your practice. They are usually held at the Friends’ Meeting House, 45 Northfield End, Henley, RG9 2JJ

Opportunities for Counselling Placements in South Oxfordshire,  interviews to be held in June 2020.

Riverside Counselling Service is a vibrant, growing
organisation that ‘thinks’ psychodynamically, but offers placements to
work with adults and young people to those undertaking accredited
trainings in psychodynamic and other modalities. Students have the
opportunity to work in a number of locations:  Henley, Wallingford, Didcot or Berinsfield.  We currently have around 50 counsellors volunteering their time.
