Counselling for young people
Are you between 12 and 18 and feeling overwhelmed or struggling to cope? Our Young People’s Service is here to support you through difficult times.
Counselling provides a safe and confidential space where you can talk about your challenges and start to make sense of what you’re going through. Our aim is to help you feel less isolated and more supported.

How it works
- Initial consultation: When you contact us, we’ll offer you an initial consultation to understand what has brought you here and to discuss the support you need.
- Ongoing sessions: After the consultation, we’ll match you with a suitable counsellor who will meet with you weekly for 50-minute sessions. These sessions will be at the same time and day each week.
Confidential support: During your sessions, you can talk openly about what’s troubling you. Our counsellors are here to listen and help you explore your thoughts and feelings without judgement.
How we can offer support:
- Face-to-face counselling: Available in Henley and Wallingford.
- Online counselling: We also offer counselling online, so you can receive support from the comfort of your own home.
