Support us
We believe everyone deserves access to mental health support, whatever their age, income or background.
At Riverside Counselling Service, we’re proud to offer professional, compassionate counselling to people aged 12 and up across South Oxfordshire.
Fundraise for us
Whether you’d like to take on a challenge, hold a bake sale, host a music event or have another idea for fundraising, your donation will support more adults and young people to improve their mental health and wellbeing. To discuss your fundraising ideas, work in partnership with Riverside or to make a donation please do get in touch. We would love to hear from you. Contact Michaela for more information.
Donate to us
Every donation makes a difference. Your support helps us to provide life-changing counselling to those who might not otherwise be able to afford it. Give what you can – help someone find the support they need today.
Friends of Riverside
In 2025 we launched Friends of Riverside – a way for local supporters to play a bigger part in our work. By becoming a Friend, you’re helping us keep counselling affordable and accessible for those who need it most.
Leave us a review
If you’ve benefited from Riverside’s services or believe in what we do, let others know. Leaving a review helps us reach more people and build trust in our work. Thank you for being part of our community.
Legacies
Making a donation in someone’s memory is a very special and meaningful way to remember them. We are always touched if someone’s family has chosen to remember them by supporting our work.
Volunteer
We’re looking for enthusiastic fundraising volunteers to help support Riverside Counselling Service with raising vital funds to support our work in making a difference to the lives of local residents.
Whether you can spare a few hours a month or a little more, your time can make a real difference.
In this role you’ll support our charity by collecting donations, sharing our story, raising awareness and providing information on our services. We are looking for volunteers who could attend local events in the Henley and surrounding areas throughout the year. You can choose which events you support and when to suit your availability.
No previous fundraising experience is needed – we’ll provide guidance and support. All you need is enthusiasm, a friendly approach, and a passion for helping others.
By volunteering with us, you’ll:
- Make a meaningful difference in your local community.
- Meet new people and be part of a supportive team.
- Gain valuable skills and experience.
- Help ensure our charity can continue providing affordable and accessible mental health support
If you’d like to give something back and be part of a local charity that’s making a real impact, we’d love to hear from you.
