Donations in memory of a loved one

Making a donation in someone’s memory is a very special and meaningful way to remember them.

We are always touched if someone’s family has chosen to remember them by supporting our work.

Donations can made in several ways: through a collection at the funeral or via the funeral director, creating an on-line memory donation page there are some helpful platforms for this such as Much Loved: MuchLoved | The memorial tribute platform

Alternatively you can simply direct people to our website and the donate button at the top of this website, adding some words in their memory.

Losing someone can be a very distressing and difficult time. We are not a specialist bereavement counselling service but we understand the impact of loss. Please get in touch if you need to talk.

Leaving a donation in your will

As a small local charity, Riverside relies heavily on donations and we would be truly appreciative of a gift being left in your will.

You can leave a percentage of your estate, a lump sum or a specific gift. Gifts to charities are 100% tax free and taken out of the estate before any inheritance tax is calculated.

We recommend seeking professional advice when making or updating your will. A solicitor or qualified will writer can guide you through the process.
