Wondering if counselling could help?
You might be wondering if now is the right time to try counselling, whether it’s the right service for you, or how it could help. If you’re unsure, the best way to find out is to get in touch. We’ll ask a little about your situation and may offer an Initial Consultation with one of our experienced counsellors.
In that first session, we’ll talk about your mental health, any past experiences of counselling, and what you’re going through right now. This helps us work out together whether counselling feels like the right next step for you.

Counselling can support you with a wide range of issues, including:
- Depression and anxiety
- Relationship difficulties
- Bereavement and loss
- Stress
- Physical, emotional and sexual abuse
- Low self-esteem
- Alcohol and drug problems
- Challenging life experiences
- Difficulties at school, college or home
- Or when you feel that things are just not right!
Exploring what matters most
Sometimes people come to counselling with one issue in mind and then find that something else feels more important – or that a deeper issue starts to surface. That’s completely normal. We’ll work at your pace and regularly check in to make sure we’re focusing on what matters most to you.
