Hobbs of Henley’s commitment to support better mental health has always been strong and we have outlined great opportunities throughout this partnership with Riverside Counselling Service to raise awareness of mental health issues, the work of the charity and to help raise much needed funds.

To start our ongoing partnership, we are delighted to host on Thursday 15th June a ‘lunch and learn’ style session on board The Waterman (dockside – no cruise) to our corporate customers and wider business networks around ‘mental health awareness in the workplace – in a world of hybrid working’. Jason McMahon, Fundraising Manager, Riverside Counselling Service will share his own lived experience of his journey through his battles to survive and change his life around; to now a driving force to raise awareness, give strength and offer his own insights into our own selfcare, recognising signs, supporting others and signposting in the workplace.

Riverside Counselling Service provides affordable 1:1 community-based counselling support, therapy support groups, a ‘Drop-In Service’, workshops and professional training to support the mental health and well-being of adults and young people across South Oxfordshire by making counselling more accessible to those most disadvantaged and in most need.

A registered charity that has been providing a professional, affordable counselling service to the local community since 1989, by choosing to support this event kindly hosted by Hobbs of Henley, your help is making a difference to the mental health, wellbeing and lives of people in your community and by attending may learn about our own selfcare and how to recognise signs and support others.

Thursday 15th June from 12.30 – 2.30pm
